Already considered among the most beautiful villages in Italy, with thousand-year-old churches, iconic medieval monuments and centuries-old palaces, Spello is unanimously recognized as the village of flowers.
If you choose to spend time in Spello, you will find that you are surrounded by a magical atmosphere, by a true enchanted landscape!
In Spello you are literally surrounded by flowers!
Flowers sprout from terracotta vases, enrich the sides of the streets and decorate doors, windows and balconies.
The entire Borgo, from May to August, is decked out until it is transformed into an enchanted spectacle.
In June, Spello then turns into an open-air painting because it is totally covered with carpets and flower paintings.
On the occasion of Corpus Christi, art is celebrated in the charming village through nativity scenes or the reproduction of famous works.
This year, the event will be held on June 17 and 18.
Who knows what masterpieces the flower arrangers will be working on!
